An exclusive, hand-painted, 100% natural linen noren with a beautiful depiction of a Japanese plum blossom (Ume). It can serve as a doorway curtain, room divider, decorative piece – you name it!

Shoji Ohashi is a “Sumizome” ink-dye artist from Kyoto’s Shijo Maruyama School. He creates noren traditional curtains, tapestries, zabuton, and other pieces aimed at elevating the atmosphere of any Japanese-infused living space.

His works, beautifully painted with light brush strokes, mainly depict landscapes and natural motifs such as flowers, birds, winds, and the Moon. His compositions are all of outstanding elegance and emphasize the allure of blank spaces that is so characteristic to ink painting.

With 47 years of experience, master Shoji Ohashi has created countless extraordinary pieces and received numerous awards.
