Inspired by the natural landscape and rocks around Kimeino Waterfall, deep in the mountains of Shigaraki, master Hozan created this outstanding piece that aims to blend tradition and innovation. Crafted in Shigaraki’s signature volcanic clay, an extensive manufacturing process and the unique characteristics of the anagama kiln provide this vase with its interesting crystalized texture and superb finish.
The lid can be moved and arranged to your liking, enabling a broad range of exhibiting options. Adding some small wild flowers when displayed can help you recreate the master’s original inspiration.
