¥5,400

Refinement elevated to the utmost degree. This pair of traditional Japanese chopsticks, handcrafted by experienced masters from Fukui Prefecture, are a delight both to handle and to look at.

The lacquered wood with abalone shell inlays characteristic of Wakasa tableware achieves its peak excellence thanks to this design in metallic red tones with diagonal golden strokes. In fact, they are named “Senko” as the term stands for the flashes usually observed throughout a thunderstorm.

They are finished with an acrylic treatment for improved durability, and the lacquer surface is slightly more rugged at the tips as to achieve better grip.

Measurements: 23cm (length).

*We would recommend washing these by hand – better safe than sorry!
